.Several clusters of thunderstorms have produced heavy rain across
parts of southeast West Virginia. Additional thunderstorms are
expected to result in urban and small stream flooding.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast West Virginia, including the
following counties, Greenbrier, Mercer and Summers.

* WHEN...Until 945 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 725 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already
caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2
inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Beaver Branch, Blacklick Creek, Big Branch, Bluestone River,
Beaver Creek, Big Creek, Big Clear Creek and Beech Run.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
